To install ACTOS Client on your windows box just follow these
steps :
1) Install the gtk+ bindings for win32 : (if
you already have gtk for win32
installed, go directly to step 2)
3-a) download and launch the file gtk-win32-aio-2.4-rc22.exe
3-b) accept the license agreement
3-c) choose : "install for anyone who uses this
computer"
3-d) select components : "Gtk+ runtime" and
"register environment variables" (you can deselect the others)
3-e) accept the default installation directory
proposed
3-f) click on "install"
When the installation of GTK is done,
you can install ACTOS:
2) Create the directory where you want to
install ACTOS (ex : C:\Program
Files\Actos)
3) download the archive http://www.derrier.com/pierre/code/actos_2-25_windows.zip
4) decompress the file in the
directory you created
5) search and double-click on the
file "wininstall.bat"
6) when you get the message "INSTALLATION COMPLETE", just hit a key
to close
the console
7) You are now ready to use ACTOS,
try it by launching the file
"actos.exe",
the one with the red and yellow icon
8) You can create a shortcut
on your desktop by right-clicking on the file
"actos.exe"
